Does your plan align with His?

Often times we create ideas, then it becomes a plan that leads to action. Where does it all derive from? Let’s start from the beginning. This formed from a thought. The majority of the time, our thoughts are influenced by our heart. In Proverbs 16 verse 1 the Lord says, “To humans belong the plans of the heart, but from the Lord comes the proper answer of the tongue.” This means our motives and actions are planned from the most sensitive area of our body - our heart. However, we must trust in the Lord and seek Him in all things to ensure our plans align with His perfect plan and will for us.

How do we determine if a plan is apart of God’s will?

Thankfully the answer is noted in the bible. We’ve been instructed not to be “anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4: 6-7)

Tip:

1. Put everything in prayer and let God reveal the answer or direction on His time.

2. Be patient and let’s wait on God together.
